The Lincoln County Animal Shelter is a division of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The shelter's mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, lost, and unwanted animals; to educate the public on animal welfare issues; and to protect animal welfare and public safety by enforcing Oregon's anti-cruelty and animal control laws.

 

Programs and services include:

 

• Pre-adoption spay/neuter  

• Animal behavior counseling

• Volunteer services program

• Animal socialization and training

• Transporting animals for the Second Chance program

• Meals on Wheels for pets
• Court Advocacy Program 

• Animal Services Deputies 
• Foster Program
• Inmate Program
• Matchmaker
• Lost and Found Program

• Medical Trust Fund for special needs animals

Please be sure to license your dogs to ensure they are returned to you in case of separation.  Also, license fees contribute to necessary funding for shelter programs and services.
